Environmental Responsibility

In the manufacturing industry, there are a lot of potential environmental problems that could arise from either our factory sites or site work at customer locations, hence why Unitech committed to minimising the impact its activities have on the environment.

One of our aims is to pursue improvements in environmental performance in the reduction of solid, liquid and gaseous emissions and waste and to reduce our energy consumption. We do this by contently reviewing our environmental procedures currently in place. Recently we undertook an environmental assessment for all areas of our business where we identified areas to be improved. For example, to use lights that have movement sensors, put notices up to remind staff not leave water running or turn taps off and fitting water saving systems to bathrooms.
